| Tasting Notes | Allen Meadows: This is completely different from the Bezearomatically speaking as here the nose is brooding and recalcitrantand only aggressive swirling liberates fresh scents of spice, wetstone, game and dark berry fruits. There is outstanding richness tothe powerful and impressively scaled flavors that possess anabundance of dry extract that imparts a velvety quality to themid-palate while also buffering the tightly wound core of firmtannins on the driving mineral-inflected and hugely persistentfinish. This is a stunner of a wine and one of the great wines ofthe 2011 vintage. |
