| Tasting Notes | Neal Martin: The Baron de Brane is a blend of 33% Merlot, 7%Cabernet Franc and 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and represents 38% of thecrop. It has a lifted, surprisingly opulent forest floor andgraphite scented bouquet that would benefit from more vigour. Thepalate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, very foursquare perhapswith a sedate, very classic, tobacco-laced finish. This willprovide decent early medium-term drinking. |
