| Tasting Notes | Allen Meadows: A very pretty and still relatively primary nose features ample spice nuances along with a pretty mix of both red and dark pinot fruit and whiffs of oak and violet. There is a lovely sense of verve and delineation to the delicious middle weight flavors that terminate in an ever-so-mildly austere but impressively persistent finish. This has arrived at a stage where it could be enjoyed now but I would be inclined to allow it another 2 to 4 years of bottle age first as the wine is still on the way up. |
